About Us
Florence Lane Senior Care is a Level 3 Adult Foster Home registered in Washington County. The owner, an RN, owns and lives in the house. A retired RN and other health care professionals assist as well. We provide full care for our residents' activities of daily life (mobility, hygiene, dressing, medications, meals, entertainment, hospice needs, etc). We listen to our residents in order to help them live the lives they want. Our goal is to meet people's physical needs while providing a peaceful and fulfilling home environment.
Family Environment with Care Services
Mealtime
We make quality meals that incorporate our residents' unique preferences. Sometimes we get fancy, sometimes it's meat and potatoes, sometimes meals are themed around an event or special memory. We strive to have fun with it.
Medications and Services
We are a Level 3 Adult Foster Home and provide a full range of services to care for one's daily needs. We provide ADL care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, mild/moderate dementia symptoms, and more. We provide medication administration, including diabetic management, in addition to general oversight of health status, coordination with practitioners, therapies, specialist care, palliative, among others.
Activites
It is a priority of ours to learn the interests of our residents so that we can provide entertainment as well as opportunities that are enriching. Games, book club, current event discussions, visiting performers, gardening, outings around town are all options. We want there to always be something exciting to look forward to.
